The wedding is the best day of a couple’s life by far. After the excitement of the early relationship and the knowledge that you are able to keep the spark alive no matter what happens, the marriage finally seals the beautiful union between two people who love each other very much. There is an old saying that the wedding is all about the bride and the bride’s mother and, for a lot of people, that is certainly the case; the groom learns very quickly that he will not get his way on the wedding day. Everything has to be perfect and hours are spent trawling through shops trying to find things seemingly so menial as the perfect cutlery. It can be an exasperating and costly experience but is worth it if it ensures that the day lives forever in your memories.

Guests are, of course, a necessity in a wedding. You want to gather together your friends and family so that they can celebrate this union between the two of you. However, the problem arises when you are trying to decide how the wedding invitations should look. The invitation is the first thing your guest will see and it needs to give the right impression. Many of the ones in the shops look a bit tacky and just aren’t right for you, so why lose sleep over them? By making your own you not only create the perfect invitations, you also add a little bit of individuality and make them extra special.
